Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy Application

This form is used to apply for the Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy. It may be completed by the student, teacher or by a parent/guardian on the student’s behalf.

Before you begin, please visit the Nebraska Department of Education's Seal of Biliteracy webpage to review all eligibility requirements and make sure you qualify.

To be considered, you must submit documentation showing that the student meets requirements in both:

English, and
a language other than English

Only complete applications will be reviewed.

Applications will be processed approximately 4–6 weeks after the submission deadline. Please monitor your email during the review period. If additional materials are needed, you will be contacted and asked to submit them within 5 days.
